At Creston, we cultivate connection through relationships.
We enjoy gathering for Sunday worship and encourage
opportunities to get together throughout the week.

Groups

Tuesday Prayer
This small group meets weekly to pray together. Prayer requests received on Sundays or throughout the week are regularly prayed for. All are welcome!

Soups and Groups
Meet Mondays 6:00pm-7:30pm in the church basement, beginning September 28th. This is a four week study of John Mark Comer's spiritual practice of Community. We will gather for a soup dinner and then break into small groups for discussion.

Worship

Worship in the Garden
Once a month, throughout the summer, we gather for worship in our garden behind the Ministry Center. We welcome the opportunity to experience God through nature and worship in a different setting.

Worship Leaders
Sunday worship is planned and led by rotating volunteer teams that reflect our varied worship backgrounds. We value participation over performance and welcome all ages to lead us in worship.

Tech Support
Whether members of our volunteer Tech Support Team are running the soundboard, PowerPoint or livestream, they provide crucial support for our Sunday worship experience.

Creston Neighborhood

Our church is located in the heart of the Creston neighborhood. We’ve been at the corner of Buffalo Avenue and Spencer Street for over 100 years. We feel called to this neighborhood and value doing ministry alongside our neighbors through relationship.

Community Development
One way we practice asset based community development is through annual events such as Block Parties & Chili Cook Offs. We gather together for good food, fun games, music and dancing - all planned and fulfilled alongside our neighbors.

Nizhoni House
The Nizhoni House is Creston’s community house committed to enriching the Creston neighborhood in partnership with the church. Residents are committed to investing in their relationships with each other and our neighbors. For more information visit the Nizhoni Webpage.

Community Partners
We value the gift of interconnectedness. Partnering with organizations, both in our neighborhood and in our broader community, contributes to mutual health and wellness, as well as a sense of kinship, and promotes access to local and global resources.
